THE Cover™ Xtend — immune-friendly elastic collagen membrane

THE Cover™ Xtend is a resorbable collagen membrane designed for guided bone regeneration, ridge preservation, socket augmentation and other oral surgical procedures where reliable membrane handling is important.

Collagen + elastin structure

It is composed of purified porcine collagen fibres intermingled with purified porcine elastin fibres. This structure gives the membrane a useful combination of mechanical strength, elasticity and flexibility, allowing it to adapt closely to complex defect shapes while reducing the risk of tearing during handling.

Prolonged barrier protection (~20 weeks)

THE Cover™ Xtend provides a barrier effect against soft tissue ingrowth while helping to stabilise the grafted site and keep bone graft material securely in position. Its slow resorption profile, reported at around 20 weeks, supports a prolonged protective function during the healing phase.
