OpenTex Membrane Textured

OpenTex® — biocompatible non-resorbable PTFE dental membrane

OpenTex® is a non-resorbable PTFE membrane designed for guided bone regeneration and guided tissue regeneration procedures in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

100% medical-grade PTFE

It is made from 100% medical-grade polytetrafluoroethylene, a biologically inert and chemically non-reactive material. This allows OpenTex® to provide a stable barrier effect without being absorbed during the healing phase.

Bacteria-resistant, exposure-tolerant

Its smooth surface and small pore size are designed to resist bacterial penetration and reduce soft tissue ingrowth, while allowing controlled healing beneath the membrane. OpenTex® can also withstand exposure, which may be useful in selected socket preservation and regeneration procedures where primary closure is not always required.

Because PTFE is biologically inert and well tolerated by soft tissues, OpenTex® supports healing without unnecessary biological interference. The membrane is designed for easy placement and predictable removal after the healing phase.

OpenTex® provides a stable, bacteria-resistant barrier that protects the regeneration site and helps create the right conditions for predictable hard and soft tissue healing.

Also available: OpenTex®-TR with Grade 1 titanium frame, for demanding vertical and horizontal ridge augmentation.
