Biotex® — biocompatible non-resorbable PTFE suture

Biotex® is a non-resorbable monofilament PTFE suture designed for implant surgery, bone grafting, guided tissue regeneration, ridge augmentation, periodontal surgery and soft tissue grafting.

100% PTFE, sterile, single use

It is composed of 100% PTFE and supplied sterile for single use. PTFE is biologically inert and well tolerated by soft tissues, making Biotex® suitable for surgical sites where stable closure and reduced tissue irritation are important.

Monofilament — reduced bacterial wicking

Its monofilament structure is designed to reduce bacterial wicking compared with braided sutures, while maintaining tensile strength during the healing phase. Biotex® is uncoated and undyed, supporting clean handling and predictable removal.

Needle designed for demanding procedures

The slim reverse-cutting needle is designed to reduce penetration trauma and allow smooth passage through soft tissue. The strong needle attachment and high needle rigidity support controlled suturing during demanding implant and grafting procedures.
